Description
Our advanced adapter design will allow you to connect a standard CO2 regulator (with DIN477 / JIS m22-14 / W21.8-14 / .860" x 1/14 nut - covers UK, Europe and Asia) to a Australian / New Zealand SodaStream CO2 cylinder. Easy installation, with no chance of leaks.
Replacement bottles can be purchased at a variety of high street shops which provides you with an easy and reliable source of CO2 for your aquarium CO2 system.
Instructions
- Ensure the adapter's valve pin is full retracted by turning the adjuster knob anti-clockwise.
- Screw the adapter onto the SodaStream CO2 cylinder and tighten as much a possible by hand.
- Attach your regulator to the adapter using an appropriate wrench or spanner.
- Turn the adjuster knob of the adapter clockwise to start the flow of gas.

Works perfectly. The “non-advanced” version didn’t work so well for me as it was too short for the nut thread on my regulator. This one has its thread sticking out the side, so plenty of room even if you’ve got big nuts! Works perfectly. Really happy with this product - CO2 sodastream cylinders are the easiest way for ne to get CO2 and this adapter works great with NZ sodastream cylinders. The instructions provided were very clear and I had no problems setting up the adapter and regulator (used the CO2 regulator with Dual pressure gauges for horizontal cylnder valve). I had been using fermentation reactors to provide my CO2 but this read more... Really happy with this product - CO2 sodastream cylinders are the easiest way for ne to get CO2 and this adapter works great with NZ sodastream cylinders. The instructions provided were very clear and I had no problems setting up the adapter and regulator (used the CO2 regulator with Dual pressure gauges for horizontal cylnder valve). I had been using fermentation reactors to provide my CO2 but this is much easier and the needle valve on the regulator gives great control over the CO2 flow.

This does work although I had a rogue cylinder that needed a bit ground off the neck as it did not seat properly but my second cylinder fitted well. My cylinders were the original steel ones as supplied in the UK. Went to my local Shell fuel shop, purchased a sodastream refill for 35 dollars, attached my regulator, then the refill and away we go. Sure beats the over 200 dollars plus recharge of an aquarium purchased co2 bottle for exactly the same result. Great product thanks guys.
