Blizzard Inline Atomizer CO2 Diffuser For 16/22mm Hose
Key Facts
- Suitable for 16mm/22mm tubing (16mm internal / 22mm external). Click here for tubing size advice
- For aquariums up to 500L.
- Creates a mist of very fine bubbles.
- Excellent diffusion rates due to high surface area of small bubbles.
- Bubbles are in the flow of water as it enters the aquarium, so remain in suspension in the water for longer.
- Diffuser is located outside the aquarium which allows for easy maintenance.
- No equipment in the aquarium itself.
- Choose the size for your filter tubing.
- Requires 2 bar / 30 PSI pressure to function (provided by all CO2 Supermarket regulators).
Description
The atomizer diffuser dissolves CO2 very efficiently, and provides a stream of very tiny bubbles which exit directly from the filter outlet. Because the bubbles are in the flow of current from the filter this ensure the bubbles remain in suspension for longer and further improves the level of diffusion.
Furthermore, because the diffuser is deployed outside the aquarium, maintenance is a very easy.
Instructions
- Inline atomizers are to be installed on the return / outflow tubing from a filter as the water is reintroduced to the aquarium.
- Cut or replace your filter tubing with PVC tubing.
- Push tubing on to each end of the diffuser.
- Screw the retaining nuts back over the tubing to hold in place.
- Unscrew the small nut on the CO2 inlet.
- Feed CO2 tubing through the nut and onto the CO2 inlet.
- Tighten the nut onto the CO2 inlet to secure the tubing.
- Turn CO2 on, allow pressure to build within the diffser.
- Adjust dosing / bubble rate accordingly.

This thing makes bubbles so tiny they practically look like a cloud, which means super-effective CO2 diffusion in the tank. Honestly, it's hands down the best diffuser I've ever used! I just swapped out my old diffuser for the Blizzard Inline Atomizer, and WOW, it makes the teeniest bubbles ever, which dissolve CO2 like a champ! Easy to install, and love that I can clean or replace the ceramic tube whenever needed. It’s built solid and keeps everything running smoothly. The super tiny bubbles it creates are super efficient in getting CO2 into the tank. I've used other diffusers before, but this one really stands out with its sturdy build and the fact that you can take it apart to clean or replace the ceramic tube is a huge benefit. Couldn't be happier with my purchase - totally worth it! The super tiny bubbles it creates are super efficient in getting CO2 into the tank. It leaks water everywhere It leaks water everywhere
Reply from CO2 Supermarket
We're sorry to hear you're having a problem. If water is leaking it's likely because the clear plastic part has unscrewed from the main body of the diffuser. If you tighten it up you should find the leak stops. -

I bought this atomizer to replace my previous UP inline atomizer when the CO2 pipe spigot broke off. This looks to be a much superior product with a metal body and pipe conections plus the ability to take it aprt for cleaning and to replace the ceramic tube. It is using less CO2 than the old one too. And all at a lower price..wish I had gone for this one in the first place! I used the UP inline diffusers before this but I thought I'd give this a try. IT works just as well, a bit cheaper, and it's really easy to maintain and can even replace the ceramic tube too. Very happy with it, I'm glad I gave it a try. I used the UP inline diffusers before this but I thought I'd give this a try.
