Description
The Pro Aquarium CO2 System with Adjustable Output Pressure combines high performance and quality at an affordable price, with each component serving an essential function for a highly effective CO2 system.
The CO2 Regulator features adjustable output pressure to ensure it can meet the needs of any aquarium, whether big or small. The high-quality 12v DC solenoid (mains transformer included) enables dosing to be controlled so that CO2 can be dosed at times and intervals that you choose. The 12v DC solenoid provides safe, low temperature, and guaranteed no noise operation. The precision needle valve and bubble counter provide the ability to easily achieve your required CO2 dose.
To ensure the best levels of CO2 diffusion are achieved an 'atomizer diffuser' is provided. Because the bubbles that they produces are incredibly small ('atom-sized'). Because the bubble are so small, they are diffused into the aquarium water more effectively than larger bubbles produced by other diffusers, and therefore provide incredibly high levels of diffusion. This means very little CO2 is wasted, which saves money in the long-term.
A drop checker is included with the CO2 system, which is used to easily set the correct CO2 dose for your aquarium. Without a drop checker you would essentially just be guessing at how much CO2 to dose; a drop checker changes colour to reflect whether you are dosing too much, too little or the right amount.
You can easily automate the dosing of CO2 by plugging the solenoid into a regular timer plug and set it in coordination with your aquarium lights, so you only dose CO2 when the plants are photosynthesising. Using the supplied drop checker you can ensure you are dosing the correct amount of CO2 and that the CO2 levels remain constant to provide the most stable growing conditions for the plants, while at the same time also help to reduce algae growth.
The (optional) 'Easy CO2 Adapter' gives you the ability to source the required CO2 cylinder from a variety of convenient locations, and even high-street shops. Ensuring the required gas for your CO2 system is easily and readily available. Simply choose which adapter you would like; SodaStream, disposable, or Paintball cylinders.
The CO2 system also comes with all other items required, including 3m of Polyurethane tubing, suction clips and bubble counter.

19th Dec 2025Really happy with the CO2 system! Getting things setup was straightforward. Although I did initally miss fitting the O ring to the needle valve which resulted in a leak but CO2 Supermarket responded very quickly to my message and was fixed in no time. But, learn from my mistake - the little o ring inside the buble counter needs fitting to the needle vale before you screw on the bubble counter. Really happy with the CO2 system! Getting things setup was straightforward.
