Description

The inline CO2 Atomizer is arguably the most well known product used for CO2 diffusion, and is a firm favourite with planted aquarium specialists around the world. Designed for use with various filter size tubing, this CO2 diffuser sits inline between your filter and the filter outlet, ensuring that the CO2 has as much contact time with the water as possible. As a result, this atomizer dissolves CO2 very efficiently, and provides a stream of very tiny bubbles which exit directly out of your filter outlet. Furthermore, because it is kept outside the aquarium, maintenance is a very easy.

To use this CO2 atomizer, simply connect it, in-line, to your external filter outlet pipe and tighten the nuts. Connect your CO2 regulator to the atomizers CO2 input with air hose tubing and tighten the safety nut. The tiny bubbles that the atomizer produces will then spread evenly around the whole tank, ensuring a uniform spread of CO2.

Instructions

  • Inline atomizers are to be installed on the return / outflow tubing from a filter as the water is reintroduced to the aquarium.
  • Cut or replace your filter tubing with PVC tubing.
  • Push tubing on to each end of the diffuser.
  • Screw the retaining nuts back over the tubing to hold in place.
  • Unscrew the small nut on the CO2 inlet.
  • Feed CO2 tubing through the nut and onto the CO2 inlet.
  • Tighten the nut onto the CO2 inlet to secure the tubing.
  • Turn CO2 on, allow pressure to build within the diffser.
  • Adjust dosing / bubble rate accordingly.

Makes really small bubbles and I prefer having as much equipment out of the tank as possible so this is a great solution for that. Makes really small bubbles and I prefer having as much equipment out of the tank as possible so this is a great solution for that.

It was easy to install and get up and running, I had bubbles coming out of the filter outlet in less than 10 mins. When I first had it running I had loads of bubbles floating around the tank which I assume where the normal air bubbles as once the CO2 started flowing though you can barely see them. I did have a small issue in that my Dennerle regulator has to be turned up much higher than it did with a basic diffuser, but after contacting CO2 supermarket I found this was normal. It is so much nicer to be able to have less clutter in my aquarium and would recommend it for that fact alone. I would highly recommend CO2 supermarket as the service was excellent with next day delivery and near instant contact even after hours with questions I had.
